About the Book of Nehemiah Quiz

Nehemiah was cupbearer to the Persian king Artaxerxes when he heard that Jerusalem's walls still lay in ruins. After praying and fasting, he asked the king for leave to rebuild them, and his book tells the story in his own words. Despite mockery, threats and plots from Sanballat, Tobiah and Geshem, the people finished the wall in just fifty-two days. Ezra then read the Book of the Law to the people, they confessed their sins and renewed the covenant, and Nehemiah returned later to sort out abuses in the temple and on the Sabbath. This quiz covers all 13 chapters, and every answer comes with the chapter and verse.
