About the Book of Jeremiah Quiz

Jeremiah was called as a young man from the priestly town of Anathoth and prophesied for about forty years, through the last kings of Judah to the fall of Jerusalem in 586 BC. He is often called the weeping prophet, because he grieved over a people who would not turn back to God. His book records his visions and acted-out signs, his clashes with kings and false prophets, his time in a muddy cistern, and the promise of a new covenant written on the heart. This quiz covers all 52 chapters, and every answer comes with the chapter and verse.
