About the Book of Deuteronomy Quiz
Deuteronomy is Moses' farewell to Israel. Standing on the plains of Moab with the promised land in view, he retells the forty years in the wilderness, repeats the Ten Commandments and gives the Shema: Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. He sets out laws for worship, justice, kings, prophets and everyday life, and places blessings and curses before the people with the call to choose life. The book ends with Moses' song and blessing, and his death on Mount Nebo after seeing the land he would not enter. This quiz covers all 34 chapters, and every answer comes with the chapter and verse.
